One thing I notice in the pic is you don't have a trim anode. Perhaps the extra weight pushing the boat deeper into the water is causing the prop torque to have a greater effect, causing the list to port. You might want to consider bennett tabs over the smart tabs if you're going to be cruising with alot of people often.

The reason your boat was leaning over to one side when turning was you simply OVERLOADED it. You put too much weight in a 20 ft bowrider to be safe, simple as that. just kidding :D

On a serious note: I think what most people are trying to say by "overloading" is that you had quite a bit of weight (yes, not exceeding the capacity), but still enough weight to change the handling of the boat quite a bit. Sometimes you can't tell exactly what the person is trying to say when it's typed on the computer. And some people are just jerks, too. :D I wouldn't be worried about it, I think just adding that weight changed the way it handled. Think about it this way: you have a few thousand pounds of boat, people, and gear... it won't handle like a sports car (or sports boat? :D )

Other than that, I don't have a scientific explanation for the way it did what it did... I'm just not that smart to think of stuff like that haha. But I enjoyed your last thread and am glad you got everything working again and back on the water.

It's just like if you run a boat with a rotten-transom, your a menace to society. What a joke. You're gonna die Steve, and kill everyone aboard.
Take it with a grain, you're a pilot. If it's a little tail-heavy, make the adjustment.............. it won't feel right, but it will be alright.

Hey Steve, you were a unsafe captain and obviously have something seriously wrong with the boat! So you should give it to me!!:D;):D;):D Just kidding, don't let the poo poo ers get to you. They are just jealous that they don't have 9 friends to go out with them.

OK, No hydrofoil, but I think that it is possible that the SmartTabs being so close together may contribute, but not sure. I know your hull type makes it hard to locate them further outboard where they should be. Also that prop needs some help. I would do it myself with a two hammers (use one as an anvil), vice grips, pliers and a file. I could get it very close with just those tools.

Ok, thanks for the clarification, I wonder then now about how much fuel you had and if maybe the tank is off center contributing to the list... Just a thought...

how far was the water from coming over the side of the gunnels?
The absolute MAX a boat can hold is at the point that water starts to flood the boat.
of course you don't want to get anywhere near that point.

but if you still have enough clearence from the waterline, then just drive carefully in nice weather and you are fine.
those gator hunters on the history channel load thier boats up until they are almost at the water line.
