You posted a reply on tilt/trim on 1/10/02; ycould you post the image you were referring to ?? I have had problems with the t/t and it squeals like a pig; I assume I may have the vent closed ?? not sure where to lookk for the vent<br />Thanks

yo troyo<br />be sure the vent is left open (backed out) don't take the vent screw right out....<br /><br />be sure to top up level after cycling up and down a few times. The level should be even with the top of the fill hole....<br /><br />good luck!<br />

My t/t motor is cylindrical, with the two screws on the side; is the top screw still the vent ? Thanks for the help

Schematic, <br />Boat and motor are an '88 Nissan 70hp; no sure who makes the t/t motor, however; Like I said, it looks almost like a bottle jack, with one screw on the side at the bottom, and the other screw appx 6' higher, also on the side
