Hairline crack

I have a 1990 NITRO BASS BOAT that has a hairline crack in the gelcoat above the waterline (Please see picture). Is there any to repair with messing up the gelcoat.

if i am seeing correctly, the only crack i see in the pic is above the rub rail. Is that correct ? if so that means the crack is on the cap of the boat .
like YD said there would not be a way to fix it without messing up the gel coat.
You could look at some marine grade epoxy putty, but would have to sand around the crack for best adhesion and also for better transition acros the repair.

I asked the last owner how the crack was made. I found out that the owners son ran the boat into a dock.

Anything you do to fix it will most likely make it more notceable and be a hassle.

If it was mine and it bothered me, I would get a sticker to cover it.

Sorry, no easy fix.
