The only thing i can say about the show was the boy didnt lip sync the vocals. There have been shows where the artists lip synced the vocals....and he actually picked the guitar.

I dont like him or his music but i commend him for actually singing and taking the doo rag off his head in the rain.

I give him a 3.2

I didn't see it, so i can't give a vote. What I can say is Prince is far from a one hit wonder. He has made a ton of music for many many years and can play pretty much any musical instrument made,. He is far more talented than some of the crap that people call musicians, but really this is all personal taste. He certainly is not for everyone, but his talent can't be desputed.

I myself despise country music, I think it is basic, void of real meaning, and pandering to the trailer park set. That being said, there are country music stars that do an excellent job at what they do, and there are some country songs that I like because those individual songs have good tonal quality and meaning.

I won't poo poo something until I give it a chance, so if I say I feel something is crap, you can bet I spent a lot of time with it first...

I don't own any of his music. I don't turn the radio up if one of his songs comes on (or turn it off either). I do respect his talent and thought he put on a real show. And yea, I like Billy Joel too.

Here's a novel idea...how about a field band with a kick-ass percussion section and color guard. God forbid the NFL support REAL music.
