I have a keywest 17ft 1990 dual console. A picture would help this question But I will try to describe it well enough. The two consoles have windows on top of each side (simular to 18 ftish bow-riders) but no walk through glass or support bar railing. When people are walking and moving around the boat, they use the plastic windshield to stable them selves and actually cause the starboard side to break. But I am looking for a bar that I could mount on these so that people could grab the bar instead of the window. Hope this makes sense. It would have to be stainless or aluminum. Almost like a three sided square that would attach to the sides of the consoles that would give 3 sides of support. I will look for a picture of the boat to describe.

Thanks,

Will

what about a grab bar like the ones you use in the shower. they are making shorter ones with a tooth so your hands won't slip when you are holding on. check the bath aisle at one of the big box stores.

I know exactly what your talking about a friend needed one.

He just went to a welder and had an aluminum one bent with mounts on it.

It's great, super sturdy.
