you also should test the mercathode with the reference electrode and a DMM for proper protection, its posible to over protect as well as under protect, DonS has it in the service manuals someplace .
but yes, the bravoIII will corrode away in front of your eyes if left under protected in the slip.
thats why I sell meters and electrodes to some of my customers that leave the hull in the water and have them check it once per month, also insure the mercathode still has battery power even with the battery switch off.
