Hello there folk, Hi from a land down under (New Zealand), I've been a member here since 2001 but have experienced great difficulty getting aboard since October 2005.
Today it appears I have made it! Yahoo...............
There's many friends here that I've ignored over the years since contact was lost so to you all I extend my heartfelt greetings. Please don't think for a moment I'd abandonded the forum.
I look forward to once again entertaining my greatest desire, that being boating and fishing.
Cheers to all and I trust your summer hasn't been too dry..............

Hey thanks folk. It's awesome to hear from you all.

Since I've been gone my children have supplied me with a new fishing partner, he'll be old enough to fish just as soon as he can walk! That makes number 2 crew for the "Junior" fishing trips.

I'm still nursing, have been for near on 30 years now. My wife has more time than me as a nurse.

Still with my first wife, after a life sentence we must be doing something right eh! (30+ years).

I've bought a few more rods, and fishing gear. Not to mention new hunting gear. No new vehicles or boats though. Good old "Finally" is 34 years old this year and still going strong.

We've started to travel around the world so just might get to meet up with some of our American friends in the next few years.
Likewise we always keep a guest room available for visitors......

Tried keeping in contact via e-mail but they bounced back. There was another kiwi who has disappeared also, can't remember his login name but his real name was Peter and he was rebuilding an old boat, he worked for eaglespares (i think).

I wonder if that person was Kiwiphil, he was in Hamilton. I couldn't raise him also.
Lost a lot of contacts as a result of being locked out.
Not iboats fault at all, I believe it was to do with some kind of server somewhere that wrongly interpreted electronic communications from the southern hemisphere as hacking following a burst of attempts at that time.
It sure cut a lot of Kiwis from communications and I know of one chap who almost went under as a result of not being able to communicate quickly.
Folk here have been great saying hello and I'm amazed just who has been comming forward. By goodness it sure is good to be remembered isn't it!
Cheers mate, I do hope we get in touch with Kiwiphil, perhaps like me he'll keep trying till he gets on.

Hello Ross, and welcome back! I am still traveling back and forth to Ghana ... am there currently. Will be back in the states in a couple of weeks.Glad to see you back in the fold!
