Up until a few weeks ago I had to start by hand. I finally got around to installing my electric start. Its always been hard to start right off the bat but once warmed up it starts great.

With the electric start sometimes it takes a couple minutes of cranking off an on. I never crank for long at one time though. I know its not the batter because I've got a really good battery. It is charged fine, test good, and cranks like a champ. The motor just doesn't want to fire. Is there anything i can do to make it start better. I hate sitting there for 5 minutes at the launch trying to start it.

My second concern is that when stop the motor after running a lot of fuel (at least more than I'd like) leaks out. I can't tell exactly what is going on, but it seems like there is a lot of excess fuel in the exhaust. Like it's not getting burned up. Anything I can do for that?
