Cool thanks.. I’m assuming my double pumper is going to have two power valves, one in the primary and one in the secondary?

If I had eyes on secondary bowl removed could confirm. Worry about top end performance after you get low speed performance dialed in

Will these power valves have a stamped size on them like the jets do?

I can visually look at the power valves and see if they are bad?
Hollers built after 1990 don’t have the same issue with backfire and power valve blow out

Have u adjusted your idle mix yet are u sure your throttle plates aren’t exposing the transom system, fuel pressure not overcoming needle and seat , float level adjusted , choke opening properly

You work on boats?
Are u gonna start crap again with me .. last thread ended with me calling you numb nuts and you giving that a thumbs up

Start this Him with basics before we have him rejetting and tearing into it. Better yet he would properly rebuild his q jet vs tune an auto carb

Yes but read the fine print. The ones that are real low are aftermarket

400 is the oem 50 is aftermarket junk cross referencing the OEM part number

Or just buy from mercruiser parts .com or marine engine vs amazon

I've still had fine luck with Sierra parts 🤷
Every once in awhile they try to sneak in one of those green paper gaskets, but I'm running on my 4th season of Sierra bellows, and several seasons of the shift cable (which had a plastic coating as well). Also, just replaced an impeller that was on its third season and looked brand new as well.
