Re: hard to accelerate !!!

Sounds like you're saying that the throttle is very stiff?!?

When you replaced the throttle control, did you also replace the cable? Or at least lube it?

Slow down when typing! It's hard to understand what you're trying to say.

Are the cable in a bind? Any really tight radius bends? Are there rlinkages the should be lubed or replaced?

Re: hard to accelerate !!!

Guys sorry about my English, Ill try again, when I disconnect the cables to the shift/throttle control is really light that why I replaced just the cables ( 2 of them ) but when I connect it the shift/throttle to the cables, the control is heavy again . I realize when I disconnect the cables in the carburetor the other is the heavy one and I see that one is pulling another cable what is going to the lower unit( I think that?s the one what change the shifts) should I replace that 3er cable if yes what is that cable name and how Ill do it, thanks

Re: hard to accelerate !!!

If you disconnect the cable that goes down to the drive, is it easier to operate the control? More than likely, your lower shift cable needs to be replaced.

Re: hard to accelerate !!!

If you download and can follow the correct manual from the stickys, you might be able to do it. I would read the manual first.

It can be a DIY thing but it's not one of the beginner level projects.
There will be tools needed like an alignment bar and trunnion pin tool.
