Hard to start DF 90 Suzuki

Does anyone know a fix to these motors when after you've done a long run across a lake and shut it down on a hot day, fish for a half hour and then decide to move again but guess what, it won't start. Fuel has all boiled out like an older automobile with a hot soak problem. The primer bulb is empty, fuel lines empty and I'm assuming the vapor separator is also empty. Have all ready replaced the things like check valves, primer bulb (including mounting it vertical, fuel filters etc. I know a lot of people are having the same problem with suzuki engines and would love to know if anyone has come up with any kind of fix yet. When you turn the key to start it, does it the motor turn over fine but just won't catch?

Sounds like vapor lock, and the most common reason for that is the fuel tank isn't venting. If you open the fuel fill port on your fuel tank, do you hear any pressure being released? Do that next time you've suspect the issue is going to happen (so after you've stopped and fished for a bit). If you hear pressure being released, your tank isn't venting properly and you might need to install a fuel demand valve (not expensive at all). If you don't hear pressure being released, then maybe your fuel cooler (if there is one on this engine) is clogged, or your impeller is worn and you're not getting sufficient water flow through the cooling lines.

Can you tell us the year and model number for the engine? There should be label on it somewhere with a serial number or some kind of letter/number combination. It could be lots of things, but we need more details on the engine.
