It looks like the EVC connect via CAN bus. Can you just buy something like a EVC Tach and control panel to view additional information on your boat? The EVC throttle and trim control also seem pretty cool. Also is a different ECM required and/or can the existing ECM just get flashed to allow EVC? Does this just plug into 8pin Vodia diagnostic connector?
