When I hauled I left a stern overhang of six inches. Made vee jacking pieces to coform to the hull shape. With shear legs in place, I jacked and winched the boat off the trailer one cross member at a time. Concrete blocks topped with cedar 2x6 held the keel and pine 2x4 acted as shear legs for balance. Reverse the process to reload.

Reading about the poly slip plates from Waller or whereever, the question that jumped into this otherwise empty head is; what about chaffing between the poly ad a fiberglass hull? Are these slip plates only for metal hulls? (ok that was 2 questions)
