Has anyone tried this products for boats

Has anyone tried this on boats. I am replacing my deck in my boats and have used Kilz before for sealing my basement floors and it works great for keeping moisture out.

Boats have DECKS not floors.

That is a homeowner product and I am not aware of anyone who has tried it....... I know I would not bother to take that risk in any of my restorations. It is not recommended for marine use ...... I have really really sharp knives in my kitchen but I doubt a surgeon would use them in an operating room

It's a nice product, but not really well suited to boats. If you want a cheap sealant product (note that any paint is going to be far inferior to fiberglass resin) you can get a gallon of pre-catalyzed epoxy paint at Sherwin-Williams for about $55.

I got their white "high build" epoxy for my bilge coating and although I haven't painted it in yet, the test pieces look great and are thoroughly waterproof.

I've also heard their "Tile Clad" stuff is good.

Kilz is super for basements, fences, anywhere you want sealed around the house... but it's just not tough enough for a boat, and more to the point it's not really designed for a marine environment.
