Interesting.....Ty for posting. I haven't used it but it looks like it'd do the trick.

They're also called tank dryers. I have one left in my garage from when I suspected water in my fuel (they come in packs of 2). They use them at gas stations when water is suspected in the storage tanks. They work, and can be had for 2 for $6 at gas station suppliers. This is the one I have used - Cim-Tek Tank Dryer. The Cim-Tech is not for use with ethanol blends though. You can also look at the Aqua Sock.

One thing I know is that on sleds since they start going EFI the return of warm fuel to the tank has boosted up the condinsation issue.

Seems like a water/fuel separater type canister filter would be better since it allows the water to be pumped out of the tank and into the filter where it can be dumped or disposed of. But maybe there's no room on a snowmobile for this type of filter?....

Video of the magnet (in case someone hasn't seen it).

Kinda looks like a giant feminine hygiene product. :D

Concept seems good, and in the video the "magnet" seemed to work, but it left behind what looks like white particles of batting. Just wonder if this residue would plug the lift tube in the tank?

I think for the price, the WaterMagnet isn't worth it. Like Robert Graham said, a FWS would be better for the typical water related issues. The socks (WaterMagnet, Tank Dryer, etc.) is good if there is an extraordinary amount of water that needs to be removed. In which case, the AquaSock and the Tank Dryer has a much higher capacity then the WaterMagnet.
