i am considering picking this boat up supposedly only 1 in existance ? i wouldnt have a clue but cool looking and i would not know how much it is worth any help here .

I am not saying it is but that fin looks like someone tacked it on ,not done at the factory.Most of the fins back then were more angular,not curvy....Try fiberglassics .com lot of fin guys there.

I would agree. It's the only 1 in existence because someone made it, and not too convincingly either.

I know Sears was in the boat/marine engine business back then....engine color is a giveaway, late 50's early 60's. The brand name was Elgin and seems that 14' and about 16 hp is as far as they went IIRC (if I recall correctly).

That looks like the '59 Cadillac of boats. I think I like the looks of the lady more, but that is just me....

I agree with Chris. If she likes it. Get it. Keeping the Admiral happy should be your priority. Was there a boat in that second picture?
