Have a live mouse inside a interior wall. No insulation.

Poster says mouse is trapped inside his wall and can't get out....otherwise I would agree with you.
I've never met a trapped mouse. As I said they can get thru a thickness of two quarters, or a quarter inch. If it got in it can get out. It gets out to feed, there is no food in a hollow wall. It only gets heard while in the wall after feeding elsewhere.

On public broadcast station, PBS. It's a good show. I like police comedy and mysteries and the scenery is lovely, I've always been fascinated with NZ. ever since they entered that air craft carrier in the old America's cup races.

I have not used poison in rodent control since local DNR found 36 dead bald eagles, and a number of other animals, over a 3 year period traced back to secondary poisoning of rodents.

Yeah I get that . We have issues here with secondary poisoning with 1080 ( I think NZ is one of the only places still using this stuff ) . Our Department of conservation ( DOC ) likes to blanket bomb large areas of bush to kill possums . They kill lots of native birds that they ( and others ) are spending lots of money and time trying to save via other govt agencies like forest and bird ( Twig n tweet ) , they kill deer , Thar , Chamois and when they overshoot the boundary of the target area we get stock and pets . I heard that on one west coast block the cost verses the tally put each possum at about $90nz each but they steadfastly refuse to put a bounty on them .
