Hi Coach<br />Welcome to the board.Tonite seems to to be classic outboard nite. The 1950's was the golden age for for outboards (up to now). The motors produced then are not old or really old. They are classics (sorta like me). If you have a pre-war (WWI) then I'll let you call it old. OK enough B.S. Elgin was a Sears brand name, Some Elgins were made by WestBend and others were made by McCulloch. If you could post the model# of your motor it would help. We have a few Elgine fans here on this board. It may also help if you could tell which gasket you need. It may be easier to make one. Give a little more info, I am sure someone will send you in the right direction. Good luck.
