I have a 1994 Johnson Faststrike 150. I have had it about 2 years never having a problem before. Took it out past weekend and trim switch at shifter won't work but does at front and on engine. Also for first time since I have had boat, went to leave ramp and soon as it went to laying down to plane out, would start winding out like it was in neutreul. I pulled back on throttle and eased down again and same thing. If not trying to plane out, it runs perfect, starts great. Any help would be greatly appreciated as no money to take to shop.

Likely spun prop hub. A prop shop can rehub. Checks by making a mark on inner and outer hubs ... if they move reltive to each other, prop is spun.

Trim switch deal is an electrical problem. You just need to track it down.

trim probably bad switch.
Prop: take a permanent marker, draw a straight line, to match cotter pin. like the picture. take the boat for a spin, make it do what it is doing. if the lines are still line up, it is not the prop, if misaligned, the hub in the prop has slipped, and need to have a new hub installed by a prop shop, or a new prop.
