Oh yeah forgot about that, I'm surprised the water isn't on yet. Every other year the electric is on year round....try another outlet on another circut. The water will be on soon.

Back to winter this week. Anyway, I took 80% of the teak off and I am doing my best to restore it. I think it might be seeing a planer within the next couple of days.

yeah its going to be cold this week...as for the teak, sometimes its tricky to refinish without losing too much of the wood. A lot of times the grain gets raised significantly from lack of oil and at that point you have no choice but to bleach it to get down into the grain or sand/plane the raised grain back.

Hi guys. I grew up in Stony Point and spent lots of time on the river. Been up in Orange County the last 20 years and keep the boat in Newburgh now. Just wanted to chime in and let you know there are other Stony Pointers here. Good luck with the boat prep. I hope to be in around the 2nd week of April. Can't wait!

I'm putting my boat into Tappan Zee Marina in Piermont this season and moving it up from Belmar, NJ. I'm looking forward to boating on the Hudson for a change.
