Having 2 different Lowrance finders on my boat?

Santa was nice enough to bring me a Lowrance Elite 5 w/ Chirp with the 83/200 transducer finder for my boat. I currently have a Lowrance X96 200 kHz finder on the boat. My question is can I run both finders at the same time without experiencing too much interference? Both transducers are transom mount. I'm just not very familiar with the Chirp features and how the transducer gets the signals.... I'm hoping to move the X96 to the rear of the boat and put the Elite 5 at the drivers seat. Thoughts???

Lowrance's CHIRP is nothing more than conventional sonar using a modified detection algorithm. The same cross-talk issues apply.

I do believe that trying to run both at the same time will cause interference issue being how both use the same 200kHz transmission frequencies. So it looks like one OR the other... JMHO!

In the Elite 5 menu it should say you can adjust it to help eliminate interference from other FF's. The two may be so physically close together that it may not eliminate it though.
