If you look in my bio you will see I have a 1996 Sylvan V196 with a Mercruiser 4.3LX Gen + and a Alpha One drive. I am dumping my hydrafoil this weekend and going to the Nauticus Smart Tab system due to the reviews it has and its lower cost. My boat is 19' running a 4.3 Vortec engine with according to the manufacturer and the Clymers manaul...180 H.P. I am getting contradictory information for which model to use. I did 2 cross-references for the application and I get an SX9510-60 for the up to 19' 140 H.P. and on another site I should get the SX9510-80 for up to 20' 225 H.P. I'm just about to wing it and get the SX9510-60 to be safe. Any thoughts before I proceed?

I have the 60#'ers on my boat, which is fairly heavy 18' plus 2' swim platform with a 4.3l MPI, and Alpha leg.

They seem to work well for me. You can always call Nauticus direct and speak to the owner (Forget his name). He steered me straight!

Cheers
