I got.a 1977 85hp that runs good in gear but in neutral misses or something like that an dies almost like a lean sneeze. Took the heads off to just take a look and I have 135hp Johnson heads on their. What that means I don't know but I would think it needs the 85hp ones. Dose not make any sence at all. Had the hardest time with motor replaced all electronics. It just seems to miss bad at idle in neutral sometime will die instantly but about ever 3-6 sec it kicks or sneezes. Motor has good compression just trying to figure out what in the world is the matter here. Runs great at wot and in gear it will idle at 600 in gear but put her in n and will die rather fast unless kept above 1600 and still some missing their. Rebuilt carbs ordered new idle orfice just can't seem to figure out what the deal is with it. It has fixed idle adjustments and new fuel pump. What a pain in the *** I just wanna take my glastron I totally redid out and hit some waves.
