I installed a new port side head gasket on a 1997 johnson 115 today and the engine starts up, but now I notice alot of water coming out from below the powerhead at the top of the drive. Seems like it is propably coming from where the water tube meets the powerhead.
The temperature alarm also went off, which never happened before changing the head gasket. I am 99% positive I installed the head gasket correctly. But if I did install it backwards, would the engine do this?
I just don't want to rip the head off again when it could be another problem.
Thanks,
Mike
