head gasket question

If a head gasket was starting to fail (not a major failure, but a small breach), would this show up in a compression test?

I am getting some water vapor in my exhaust and I don't know if it is coming from the head or a gasket failure in the exhaust system somewhere.

Compression is 118-120 in all 6 cylinders of a 1982 v150.

yes it would show up in a compession test your #s seem ok
