Good afternoon everyone.I was wondering how often should the head gasket be replace? Motor is a 1998 Ocean Pro 200hp. I have no problem on overheating but did pick up sand this last season. I am replacing the water pump, rebuilding the carbs, new coils and power pack. I had trouble on the last day of fishing due to coils going bad. Replacing the power pack due to reading not in range. I have had boat and motor for 5 years now and have never pulled them but compression towards the end of season were 90 for all 6 give or take a pound or 2.
