Is it ever going to end? 100 degrees here today with a heat index of 107 to 110..
Have the week off and too darn hot to put the boat in!

That's normal August weather in Texas.

It has just this week returned to normal summer here. 98 today with THI of 106.

Well..... I think I might mention that on this past Sunday I was in 43 degree weather on top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire.

It's hot here, but I've never seen it bust 100. Our afternoon showers bring in some cooler weather, and where I am near the water, it's downright pleasant in the evenings.​

Finally a nice cool 88 here. Been awful hot all of July with 100+ temps. My poor bikini hasn't been wet much this summer. Let's hear it: AWWWW!!!
Went to Morro Bay today for the day. Beautiful 65 degrees. Now there we go. Almost had to grab a sweatshirt. Almost.

I think I can deal with shoveling snow away from an HVAC unit to fix the heat vs the sweat in my eyes fixing the A/C. When it comes to the extremes, you bet you can find me on a McD's roof doing a repair. I came home yesterday with blisters on my knees from knealing on hot sheetmetal. Today a walkin freezer/cooler went down due to it being too hot. At least that was an easy fix by putting a lawn sprinkler on it. Now to wait for the temps to get back to normal. You know it is too dang hot when you burn your fingers when you pick up a tool.

I get it both ways here. 119 deg in the summer and 9 deg in the winter. I only get a few months a year that I don't freeze or sweat my ### off to badly.

We've had so much dang rain here the past couple of months I don't care how hot it is. If it's not storming my boat's gettin wet. I've sat out there before fishin under the bimini and sweat the whole time. I kinda like the heat. Therapeutic on the ol' bones. It's the long drive home after a long day on the water I don't like.

103 in the shade here and its almost 6:30 in the evening...ughh!!
Another day off to look at the boat out the window...
I picked a crappy week for taking some vacation days..
I think i will go get cooked on the jet-flea tomorrow....at least i can stay wet.

My wife asked me the other night what we would have done if we hadn't purchased an air conditioner for the house. I told her that normally when it got hot, we went to the boat for the a/c. Since this year the boat didn't get docked,,,,well, we had to get an a/c for the house. I sure have missed having my boat in this season. It just aint right,,,, (actually I miss seeing those scantly cladded women in their bikini's)

Yesterday was 102 here in Cary. 102 is predicted again today. Real Feel was 114 . Thats hot.
