Just purchased a 2012....240 Bentley cruise Se.....with a new 115 Merc EFI 4 stroke.....came with 13.5 x 15 prop......will do 25 mph at 5300 rpm,
then at wot it revs at 6200 but just seems to slip and still does 25 mph....have tried tilt and that doesnt help....experienced boat mechanic gave me
a 14 x13 to try and only does 21 mph and revs at 6700......can anyone suggest what I should try next ?...I asked another boat dealer and he suggested
a 13.5 x 17 .....Any feed back would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance.....Kevin Hedley

Usually a 4 blade will resist venting in your case the same 15 pitch.
The 4 blade should handle better at the dock as well.
Have you tried lowering the motor one hole
in height not trim.

Thanks very much for your reply.....I am going to try the 4 blade first...then try the motor drop next if the prop doesn't help (thinking it will)
