I just joined the site! So, I thought I would say "Hello" to everyone. There is some great information to be had on this board. I am 21 years old and have owned a boat since the age of 15. My first boat was a 1974 20' Mako center console. Originally, she was powered with a 1984 150HP Evinrude. In 1997, I had this motor rebuilt. The rebuild turned out to be no good and the motor crapped out on me soon thereafter. So, I repowered with a 1998 150HP Evinrude OceanPro. This was a great engine, and I put 675 hours on it in the two and a half years I owned it. I sold this boat in July 2001 after I picked up my 1988 24' Sea Ray Laguna center console. This boat was powered by twin 135HP Mercury outboards. The port engine crapped out on me shortly after buying the boat, so rather than going with a rebuild, I repowered her with a single 2001 250HP Yamaha Saltwater Series II outboard with OX66 fuel injection. I bought this motor in mid-October, and by the end of December I tallied 140 hours on her. It is an exceptional engine and I look forward to many more years of loyal service out of her.

Well, I look forward to continuing to read and post on this site!
