I'm restoring my '62 Jupiter. We head to the welder on Friday together to repair the 8 or so holes in the hull that the previous owner said didn't exist. Amazing what you find beneath 44 years of paint...cool project!

I' Frenchie & i've got a brand new 15 american !<br />This boat is full equiped with actual technology and racing parts.<br />It's a small funny boat! Very dated and so kitch ...<br />The French guys I gave a lift are all impressed buy the hull eficiency in spite of a near 200hp engine with surface propeller !<br />I wonder how could i post a photo on your forum ?<br />thanks for reply,<br />Marc.

Marc, when using putfile, you do not have to use the [img ] tags, they are already on the code when you copy it but looks good.

From a "brand" standpoint, I don't think there's much difference.
From a "type" standpoint, aluminum hulled boats will almost always be lighter than a similar type of boat with a fiberglass (or wood) hull.
