Does any one know the steps to drain the lake water from the motor?

I will drain the Gas, Oil and Lower Unit Oil. I have drained the carbs and sprayed carb cleaner in the them. I spayed WD40 and fogger in the cylinders. I have not tried to start it yet. Is there a block drain to drain the block?

Please help!

Thanks.

How long was it under water? Put lots of oil in the cyclinders and drain all the fluids and replace them

Fresh or salt water. No drain in the block. Pull the sparkplugs and crank her over for a while. That will get most all the water out of the block. There is no oil to drain unless the oil tank was submerged too. , and no need to drain the lower unit. Its under water in normal operation anyway. Drain the carbs and with fresh gas try to get her running.

4-5 Hours it took 8 Men to tip it back up. 1992 Skeeter with a 115 HP. Storm blew it right off the lift.
