I recently ordered a new power tilt/trim motor for my motor. I see its only 4 bolts to remove the motor from the housing. Is this housing filled with oil, do i need to have the motor proped up when i remove the trim motor? Or can i just pop the old connections and motor off and install the new one?

The electric motor is sealed with an o-ring into the t/t casting. pay attention to the orientation of the wiring when you take replace the motor. They may bind if you orient the motor differently on reinstall. I'm guessing you've got this taken care of by now, but thought the next guy might wanna know.
