Help 7.5 Mercury 110

Working on a 7.5 Mercury 110. Put new coils. New cdi box new plugs. Has 100psi compression getting a spark. But does nothing used starter fluid nothing. It’s really easy to pull and feels like it doesn’t have good compression but it does. I’m puzzled anyone have any. Ideas. Thinking the stater but if that’s the case it wouldn’t spark correct ???

A 7.5 is a 75, the 10 hp was also called a 110 and a 100 depending on which year it was produced.

Is there a decal on the block that says --" comet "-----What happens when you switch wires from the cd to the coils ?---Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" or more, yes or no ??
