I am trying to get the year model for my 80 hp mercury. serial # 08302688. Thanks in advance, this is such an awesome site!!! Robert

I think that the second digit is a B not a 8 if so your engine is a 1988

Thank You, Is that normal (the B inthe number) I couldn't read it very well. I am having to title & register it here in Missouri & don't want to give any bad info. to slow the process. Thanks again, I knew I'd get the info from here! BOB OH yeah, it is on a 89 tracker so that sounds right
