Jeepman had the right idea.
Harbor freight has a pump you power with a drill that will pump 650 gph as an alternative.
Quick math says you have maybe 400 gallons if the tube is completely filled.
Get a spare battery for your drill motor and pump the thing out.
How far to a boat ramp vs battery life is the issue.
Just remember to have the drill turning in the correct direction, don't ask. :)
Good luck.

You all have good ideas, however, I have done it and the advice I'm giving is the is the easiest and least destructive. Oh and as far as vents go, I've never seen them on any pontoon that I've dealt with.

I am a little surprised and confused. There are several chambers in those logs and you should be able to limp home even if one filled with water. I am curious to see how the water got into the log.... If it was sudden there has to be a broken weld or one heck of a hole somewhere. Since the rear plug is out and if it has enough buoyancy to float I will bet the log will drain under power, if the port log is actually sitting on the bottom then this won't work though.

I'm not an authority on toons by any means but I have cut a few apart. I've never seen one that was chambered but I have seen several with baffels. I think if it was me I'd prefer one that was chambered. This one sounds like it's just baffeled. I'd like to see some pic's, it would make assisting the OP a lot easier.

My old pontoon, an '88 was chambered, sort of. Water could drain slowly between the compartments. I think the idea was that if you did puncture the tube, it would remain afloat long enough to safely get off or run to the closest shore. I had a leak and with the bow tilted up it took about 15 minutes for all the water to drain to the rear.

Tried the drill pump. The 12v one moved a lot more water.

I'm curious to see how it worked out for him, I hope he posts back.

+1 for the HF drill pump being a little slow. I have one I'm going to mount on an old weed eater. I hear they are an awsome portable pump then.
