IT RUNS!!!!!! anyway i was able to get a new rotor and cap along with a new senser, was a little worried because the new senser was a 3 wire setup and the old one was just a 2 wire system had to ground the black wire... anyway it started right up and seems to run fine , only had it on muffs in the driveway , will take it out this weekend and hope there isnt anymore issues ... anyways thank you everyone for the info and help ..and saving me a bunch of cash!!!!

that sensor normally gives you a few small breakdowns first and then starts good then just leaves you dead in the water.at least you know how to check it now. all the best

hello everyone !!! well i took the boat out this afternoon with the wife for about an hour ride and all went great, it did idle 100 rpms slower than before , not sure why!!! but started right up and came up to normal temp and ran fine. what a relief!!!! i hate when my toys dont run right , it stresses me out!!!!!anyways thanks again and have a great weekend!!!

The idle changed cause you either bumped something or the new sensor is in a slightly different spot in the distributor. Set the timing to spec and then set the idle.
