HELP!!! Evinrude 6hp water pump

[14 foot Starcraft]

Howdy, I have a 66 6hp that runs mint. It's pumping water (seams weak). I did a pee hole mod to the thermostat cover so I can assure its pumping (there is a web site I will link to here where I learned this trick). The probalem is its pumping weak, I put a new impeller in, the little rubber thing that attaches the outlet pipe to the pump it torn so I think it is not sealing well and water is escaping out. Can I buy this part? Does anybody have a part number? Thanks Ike

It's called a water tube grommet... I'd have to look at my receipts to give you a part number. They are available and pretty cheap.

Part # 0302497 but you might want to double check.

Water tube grommet is part number 302497, from any Evinrude dealer. OR, it is part number 18-3329 from right here at iboats

Thank you soooooo much I'm going to check eBay. Also picking this beast up tonight for $30 with tank (57 sea king 5hp omc) it says it does not run but it will eather get it running and use it as a river beater, or parts to keep my Evinrude alive.

Found the part, I will buy it later, will parts off this sea king work on my Evinrude? Looks the same (at lest the lower unit and prop) maybe it's a 59

Went and grabbed the sea king 5hp, shifter is stuck, prop turns hard, it won't pull over, I'm going to check it out tomorrow

Also I think it's stuck in nuetral, maybe I don't know how to run the shifter? Latch?
