Hey does anybody know where I can find a 25" Driveshaft for an 87 125 Force? Thanks....
According to my manual:
The gearcase assemblies can be identified as follows:
1. One-peice drive shaft/single-port exhaust (1984-1989 60, 85 and 125 hp):
a. The cooling water intake is aligned with the propeller shaft center line.
b. The lubricant drain plug is a 1/16 in. pipe plug.
c. The anode is located inside the gearcase forward of the propeller.
d. A 3 or 4 is stamped in the gearcase, between the fill and vent plugs. A 3 indicates an 85 hp model with a 2:1 gear ratio. A 4 indicates a 125 hp model with a 1.73:1 gear ratio.
