Re: Help finding a marina
It would help dramatically if you indicated where you were. there are people from all over the world on iBoats, and they could give you first hand information on local marinas that you won't get from websites.
If you are looking to locate marinas for long distance travel, there are books updated and printed annually which is best to have aboard. They give a lot of information at your finger tips and are aranged in blocks, according to specific regions, so you can set your trip up in advance. Also list points of interest, area restaurants, hospitals, parts, etc.
Here is a site to start with. It's called Active Captain. It also has links to other sites as well as DVD/CD information to take along with you. Also look into various apps if you have a smartphone, as information can change on a daily basis.

The spiral bound book I mentioned can be found at any local marina. I can't remember the name off hand, but I'll be at the boat later today and I'll update my post, so be sure to come back later and check.
