Help Finding Parts

I have a mariner 40E
I have had nothing but trouble finding the right parts for it the local dealer has sold me the wrong parts 3 different times I finally tore the gear assembly down and brought the clutch and gear assembly in but the parts that show in there system are wrong can anyone guide me in the right direction.

The S/N is 6e9 L 407667 I do not know what the L stands for because it doesn't show up anywhere I have searched
