I have a 2000 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer and I'm trying to find a stainless steel hinge so I can replace a missing aft bench seat support. The attached photo shows what I'm looking for, the tube diameter is 1". If I can find just the hinge part I can have it welded to the correct length tube or possibly something like this is available from a used boat.
I contacted my local Sea Ray dealer and gave them the old part number 1048099 but it doesn't appear to be available any longer. Any help is appreciated.

try ebay. there are a few marine salvage and surplus stores that have old stock. Marine Salvage in Sarasota FL, Dons Marine Salvage in Clearwater FL, Green Bay Propeller in Suamico WI, and Great Lakes Skipper (Kendar Marine) in Kenosha Wisconsin to name a few.

You can modify it to use a rod end bearing. ie. Heim joint.
Not much harder to do than replacing that with another welded in place.

There's a 7/8" polished stainless steel "rail hinge" available locally here in Canuckistan that is priced at $70 CDN. I can send you a link by PM if you want, but I don't want to post a link here to an Iboats competitor. I wasn't able to find one of these listed at Iboats. - Grandad
