help finding the right prop for bass tracker

I have a 1990 bass tracker pro 17 with a 40hp johnson and my dad broke the omc prop years ago. So now i'm trying to find out what came on it. Any help would be great.

I too am replacing a prop. I surfed around a bit and came up with a great site that lets you enter your motor and boat data and it will give you a size and pitch. I found it to be really helpful. Good luck.!

If you have the old prop it could be repaired and would have the size on it.
What is the present prop and the max rpm and speed?

My current prop is 12 1/4 x 15 and close to 5200 rpm I think . But my dad put this one on years ago when he ruined the oem one . He said this was the closest he coud get to oem with out waiting . I'm also not for sure if this one has been repitched
