HELP! FOUR WINNS 1995 - 238 Vista

Still on the market for my first boat!!! Any thoughts on a FOUR WINNS 238 Vista???

Some details: Cosmetics are in good condition. Appears as very well cared for. I/O 240 HP, Powered with 5.0 l, EFI OMC with Cobra drive. Does not have hour meter, equiped with bimini, dockside power, trim tabs, good living space, stereo, porta potti, no trailer.

Any thoughts?

If it is the OMC SX Cobra drive it may be worth considering.If it is the standard Cobra my advice is to keep shopping.

Got a pic of the drive? Also is this the 5.0 Ford based engine or a 305 GM?
Being it is the FI model it must be a Ford.

I'm thinking the same. Even if the drive is an SX/Cobra, I'd still walk away if the motor was a Ford instead of GM.

To the OP-there's nothing inherently wrong with a Ford or an OMC, but both manufacturers have been out of the marine market for over a decade. Think parts and service.

the SX-Cobra drive is the same as a Volvo SX. Volvo makes good drives.

Yep,That is the Ford FI setup.....I would keep shopping..
