Admiral you must be talking about diesel cause i can't seem to locate any gasoline engine with that rating. if you would so kindly copy and paste the website page on this post here today i will gladly pay you tuesday.

Ok i checked the impeller and flushed the hoes. everything seemed to be ok. i took the boat out this morning. it was running at 225 degrees which is way above the 175 degrees normal running temp. could it be the temp. guage malfunction? should i replace it and where is it located? your help will be greately appreciated.<br /><br />I will call the dealer tomorrow, but if i can fix the problem myself, it will save me the trip.

I dont see the 180 either. but I had installed one in a jet drive and 2 shamrocks about 2-3 years ago. loved the little beasts. the only quirk with the EFI model is returning to idle. it will hold at about 1100 RPM for a few seconds and it takes some getting used to. but for 5 HP I would continue stepping up. the 4.3 would be a second choice but may require stringer mods and a new Y pipe for the exhaust. it may be possible to prop around some of the gear ratio difference between the 3.0 and the 4.3. but not anything larger.
