HELP !! I need a CAM Magneto - 73 Johnson 20 hp

Hello All,

I need a CAM Magneto for my 1973 Johnson 20 hp motor. The man that is working on my motor said, it was sheered off, and no longer opens up the points. I hope this is the correct item. If anyone know wher I can get one, please let me know.

It's NLA from the dealer (last price ~$12). PN is 318488 and should be available from any outboard junkyard. Email laingsoutboards.com, sea-way.com, theoutboardwizard.bizhosting.com, tcoutboards.com. Any of them will have it.

Broken cam is often the symptom of an overtorqued flywheel. Carefully examine the flywheel hub for cranks and streaching and replace it as well if you find trouble.
