The Bayliner dealership has informed me that the carbeurator jets for high altitude I need for my Force 50 outboard are no longer available. I find it hard to beleive that my boat is now worth nothing because I can't get the three dollar parts I need.

If anybody can help me locate these parts I would greatly appreciate it. The part numbers are: f10186-nla and f10185-nla

Thank you.

You should be able to find some, somewhere... so instead of posting to just this BBB, try searching Web via your browser & email every Force dealer out there to check there inventory.

Ford, GM & other auto/truck Mfg have dealers that buy old inventory from them & other dealers... As I have found when looking for "grasshopper" clip for body side moulding on my 22 year "young" boat pulling vehicle!!! Heck, I bought them all... $5 inc shipping!!!

HEY, ANYBODY need a "GRASSHOPPER" clip for your truck. I got 'em!!!!

------------------
"Keep it between the Bouys" & Good Luck!!!

fone_man

Take a look around at the local Bayliner dealership, and you'll see nothing but new boats. It's just what they want you to leave with. I am blessed with a very helpfull dealership here, but have still had to "hunt and peck" for rare parts, inspite of that.

Try going to a Mercury outboard repair shop near you,as parts are still under the "Quicksilver" brand name.
I know a guy that may be able to locate (or ship) the part to you.
Gary, of "Outboards Only",
890 Pondella Road,
N.Ft. Myers, Fl.
(941)997-9880

Try the Glendo Marina at 307-735-1216, ask for the motor repair shop. I don't remember the mechanics name, but he had a whole box of jets. I suspect you need a #90 or 92. 3.50 ea.
