Help ID old aluminum boat?

(Not sure I am posting this in the right place--I don't easily understand the organization of the forums here.)

This boat measures about 11' 7". Transom wood all gone but I think I can see where it goes. No data plate that I can find. Kind of the image of a beat up tin boat. Can anyone, from the pics, tell me who likely made this boat, and approximately when and where a data plate might be?

amuller, if there is a hull plate (HID) it is usually located on the transom right-hand (starboard) out side upper corner. And usually it is attached so it isn't easily removed. Mine was riveted on. Other then that, I can't begin to know what manufacture or year it could be. But there are lots of folks on these forums that may can. JMHO!

Thanks. Consensus here and elsewhere seems to be "Sears," possibly including Elgin and/or Sea Nymph. The wt and dimensions correspond pretty well to Sears "semi-vee" boats from the 50s, 60s, 70s. Noticeable is the apparent absence of a drain plug in original form and that the spray rails begin several feet back from the bow. Looks like there was a sticker on the starboard inside of the transom.

A key limitation of all these is the load rating of 500 pounds or less. Not enough for two adults, a motor, tank of gas, and some gear.

I think that hull is probably too old for a HIN. Capacity plate on 'em a "sometimes and sometimes not" proposition. That boat will handle two guys around 200lbs, a 6 or 9HP outboard, fuel, some gear and a cooler. Don't go nuts loading it out, but for inland lake use those are great hulls for a day of fishing with a bud.
