I've got no help on the ID. I think you'd be happier with an open bow for your intended usage. I had a closed bow and while it was a sharp little runabout, it was a colossal waste of space. I have an open bow now and am thrilled with it.

thanks ezmobee for the input. what is the difference between the boat i am looking at (i assume its a run-about?) and a bow rider? other then stating the obvious that one has an open bow and the other has a closed lol. trying to weigh the pros and cons.

Back in the day when that boat (and my Jupiter) were made, people pretty much just cruised around in boats. That's about all they did. So they didn't worry much about maximizing interior space. Pretty much NO manufacturers made a closed bow runabout after about 1975. There's just really no benefit to the design.

I love my open bow http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/ezmobee/New Boat/DSCF2729-2.jpg

If you had said you were just looking for a classic old boat to fix up and cruise around I would have said go for it. But I'm thinking you rather be able to pile a few friends in and go skiing. There's better boats for that. Even a run of the mill 70's tri-hull would be better.
