I found this plug sitting underneath the engine while I was cleaning the bilge area. Does anyone know where it is supposed to be screwed in?

There was some oil down there and after I cleaned it up it appears to be leaking from somewhere at the rate of one drop every 3-4 minutes while the engine is running. I can’t tell where it’s coming from but the eventual drop falls from a lower bell housing bolt. It makes me think that this plug is probably not the source of the leak since it drips so slow and this plug is huge.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
