I have a Volvo SX-M outrive behind a 5.0GXi-E, I think a 2004 model. I am getting the last of my parts together to pull the outdrive for service. Page 230 of the service manual on the drive (step 9) tells me to remove the 6 lock nuts attaching the drive and discard. This means that I will need 6 new lock nuts to re-install. I can't find part numbers or descrptions for these nuts anywhere. Does anyone know the size locknuts I need for this installation? I would take one off and carry it to the hardware store but the boat is 3 hours away on a lift. I would like to get the parts before I show up to do the service work. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Reuse them. It's not necessary to replace unless you can screw them all the way on with your fingers. Then you know the lock part of the nut is worn out.
I've never had to replace any, except a few that I dropped and they rolled down the drain.

have I reused them ? yes.
industry standards say never.
have I had a drive fall off in the past 30 years? nope.
NEVER use hardware store stuff. most of it simply wont deal with a marine enviroment.
